Extreme Light Infrastructure - Call for Users
We are pleased to announce the first ELI Call for Users. We invite proposals from the scientists in the European Research Area and from around the world.
The Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) is the world’s most advanced laser-based research infrastructure. The ELI Facilities provide access to a broad range of world-class high-power, high-repetition-rate laser systems and secondary sources. This enables cutting-edge research and new regimes of high intensity physics in physical, chemical, medical, and materials sciences.
This call includes all three of the ELI Facilities, thanks to a close collaboration between ELI ERIC and the "Horia Hulubei" National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH), and the support of the Horizon 2020 Project IMPULSE.
Following the announcement of the first ELI Call for Users, we invite you to participate in a dedicated WEBINAR for more detailed information about the available equipment offered and the proposal submission process. The programme will feature general information about the Call, presentations by each facility, introduce the User Office staff and include time for questions and discussions.
For more detailed information about the available equipment, application process and how to prepare your proposal, please go to the web site:
https://up.eli-laser.eu/
The call will remain open through 31 August 2022, 12:00 (noon) CEST. Proposals are accepted from around the world, and are evaluated by an international panel of experts and accepted based on scientific merit. Proposers are invited to contact the ELI User Office with technical questions: user-office@eli-laser.eu
